Joachim Bartoll began studying nutrition and training science back in 1989 and started his first website in 1995 with the goal to educate and help people all over the world. In 1996 he joined the online community known as BigBoys. A year later BigBoys was shut down and Joachim's Ironmag emerged to become the premier online bodybuilding magazine. In 2001 Joachim accepted the position as Editor-in-Chief for the Swedish edition of Ironman and Ironmag was slowly put on ice. In mid 2002 Ironman was shut down due to low advertising revenues and Joachim worked as Editor-in-Chief for Exhale All Sports Magazine till December 2003, where after he resigned due to illness and poor working conditions.
During his time with Exhale, Joachim also worked as an Art Director, Illustrator and did most of the magazine's layout. Joachim has also been an active photographer since 1998.
Today Joachim is focused on his recovery and the management of Ironmag. Joachim is also a part-time Personal Trainer and Coach.
